Mark your calendars and save the date for the UCD centennial year TGFS Picnic! Please note that this yea's TGFS picnic will be held on Hutchison Field, which is a new venue for the event. By changing the venue, we hope to reduce the carbon footprint for the event, shorten travel time to the picnic and reduce the number of buses needed for transportation. We will have plenty of tents to provide shaded eating areas, and also recommend that departments bring extra tents if they have them. We are in the early stages of planning for the event and are seeking volunteers for key areas such as Gunrock Bingo, Guess the Weight, Logo Contest, etc. If you are interested in volunteering, please contact Lina Layiktez at lclayiktez@ucdavis.edu. Information on the planning will be shared via the Staff Voice so stay tuned! |
